Uhhh am I screwed?

I just formated my hard drive recently and before I had beaten JKII single player. If an expansion comes out am I screwed now because I don't have my save game files?

Your question doesn't make sense.

I doubt it. It's more likely an expansion pack would be with a different executable and wont be reading off your save files.

 

Most FPS expansion packs aren't like that.

And after all, there is still that little feature called 'cheats' to get you into that last map with Desann in less than 20 seconds. Kill him é voila, you just beat the game.

 

...come to think of it, you don't even need cheats, since the "map" command always works anyway.
