View Swaying

I've tried this option on and off, and it seems to make no difference. Is view swaying turned off supposed to get rid of the simulated jumpy vision you get when you run? Like is your gun supposed to stop swaying, and when you move forward it would be smooth instead of bumpy? This doesn't work for me, and is the source of many headaches. I play for about an hour or less and I have to take a break or else I'll get a headache.
