What does saberRealisticCombat "0" change?

IN the config file for the game, What does setting this from the defualt of zero to one do?

 

seta g_saberRealisticCombat "0"

Setting it to anything other than zero makes the saber very powerful. The higher the number, the more powerful (put it at something like 100 and just need to touch them and their arms fall off)

I think it only ranges from 0 to 3. if you set it to 3, touching enemy saber is enough for a kill.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

No your all wrong! It enables dismemberment! Set it to 100 and you can chop arms and limbs off all day!

3 seems to do the same thing as 5, maybe i' m just not noticing a difference though.

 

Oh and umm.. is there a trick of some sort to decapitate someone? i've seen and heard of people doing that but after all the time i've tried, i've never accomplished it...

Ok, to decap...(this works for me).

 

Open up the console(hitting shift and ~ at the same time).

 

Type 'helpusobi 1'

Type 'g_saberrealisticcombat 3'

 

Press escape to close it.

 

Now, do a side slash at an enemy's head. It should fall off.

Uh, I decapitate all the time on g_saberrealisticcombat 1. Like he said, just do a side slash to the head.

Actually, I do believe they are correct. g_dismemberment enables extreme dismemberment, setting the saber combat to realistic means that it's realistic 1 hit kills and the like. If you want to have some dismembering fun set g_dismemberment to 1000000 heads and waists fly off with abandon while still allowing you to hit things more than once. (Limbs still only fall off on the final hit and I submitted this info as news, but Kurgan said when he tried setting it to 100 it booted him back to the main menu, so give it a shot and see what happens.)
