A small FAQ for people with JK2Radiant questions

I will update this as time goes by. Here are the top three questions (looks like they'll be posted over and over again )

 

When starting JK2Radiant it crashes!

Solution: Just don't do anything and wait, it might take 20 seconds to load (it looks like it crashed but it really didn't).

 

I can't play my map!

Solution: Make sure that in JKIIRadiant under File --> Projects Settings the map path leads to the maps folder in your gamedata/base folder. Then start JKII Multiplayer, type /devmap yourmapnamehere

 

I can't make multiplayer maps!

In Radiant, click File --> Project Settings. Under Entity path, make sure that mp_e

ntities.def. is selected and THE WHOLE directory is shown, meaning C:\PROGRA~1\LUCASA~1\STARWA~2\GAMEDATA\\TOOLS\mp_entities.def. by default.

But how do you add lights and startplayers???

right click, and select ur entity.

 

to change that entities properties, press 'n' with the entity selected
