I FINALLY figured out how to get the mp_entities.def file to work!

All I did was take out the stupid DOS paths and type regular windows paths. Here's a step by step guide to help you!

1. Make sure everything is deselected by tapping the Escape button once. Now go to File-> Project Settings...

2. The Project Settings dialog box should pop up. We are going to change all the paths. Now assuming that you have extracted the contents of the SDK to the default directory all these patch should work fine;)

Change basepath to:

C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast\GameData\base

Change mapspath to:

C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast\GameData\base\maps

Change remotebasepath to:

C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast\GameData\base

Change entitypath to:

C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast\GameData\Tools\MP_entities.DEF

Change texturepath to:

C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast\GameData\base\textures

Ok after you have entered all those paths hit the OK button, save your map (if you have edited it), and close JKRadiant and open it again.

3. After JKRadiant has loaded open your map, and right click somewhere inside the square or whatever your map looks like.

OMG great miraculous Mary! All the entities are there! WOOHOO!

Select info and the info_player_start . A box should appear, this is the player start box, I don't know why it doesnt have the arrow like in the tutorials but at this point its good enough for me.

You should now have a player start box like the one below Horay!
