Darth Draugmahl Posted April 23, 2002 Share Posted April 23, 2002 OK, this may be a newbie-ass but here goes. I've mapped for UT, Rune and Heretic II, none of which use the Q3 engine of course. Now, when I pull up the entity window I getting a very scant amount of things to put on a map (considering that I know there are md3 files for many things like tie-fighters and etc) so is there something special I need to know about putting them on the map or getting them into the editor to use? I tried unpacking them from the pk3 into the appropriate directory with no success. Anyone? Bueller? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Home_Sliced Posted April 23, 2002 Share Posted April 23, 2002 Fire up the executable for JK2 (SP for an SP level, MP for an MP level). When you get to the main menu, hit "Shift + ~" to bring down the console. Type "devmap mapname" and it will load your map in developer mode (ie: cheats are enabled). Draugmahl: You need to go to File, then Load Project. (The project files are in the tools directory.) Open up the StarWars.qe4 project for SP. All of the SP entities should now be availalbe.
