B0rG
Hrmm... I seem to have hit a bit of a hurdle with JK2radiant, and I'm hoping theres a quick and easy solution for it. With every version of radiant I've ever used (which is lots), selecting multiple brush faces for texturing and texture alignment, shift, ctrl and alt used to do the trick. Strangely enough, this doesn't seem to work in JK2radiant. Can anyone tell me what the trick is to doing this for JK2radiant?
B0rG
*Bump* Someone (one of the level designers at Raven at least) must know an answer to this.
Mr. Nip
I'm surprised nobody has answered this. It seems like a pretty major feature to go missing. I thought at first it was because I had selected 3-button mode which apparently doesn't work properly with some mouse software, but no dice. Anyone? Anyone? *bump*
B0rG
*bump* surely Raven didn't make this game without the use of this feature :I
Oz
Yeah, we did make the game without that particular feature. I guess we never felt like we really needed it that badly.
Omikron
Some good news...it is possible, though a little complicated. What you do, is create brush on the texture that you want, in the shape you want, and then use the CSF/CSR(or whatever it is, the thing next to hollow) and u then delete the brush, and you should be able to select that part of the texture without selecting the rest. Hope that makes sense.
B0rG
Wow Oz, that does surprise me. I find it to be a real time saver. Now I'm even more impressed with the speedy development cycle JK2 went through
