Camera Issues in Jk2Radient

The Truthful Liar

Recommended Posts

Well it's finally here, and it's VERY similar to it's brother GtKradient/QeRadient - BUT I'm having a problem with the Camera/3d view area.

Whenever I right-click and move the mouse, the camera moves a million light years away. Yes I put the sensitivity to MINIMUM and with delicate movements it still goes all 'wonky'. The 3d Camera sure isn't the same as the one I'm used to in GtK, where you can also move around anywhere up down, left right etc... Also why is A/Z look up/down and D/C move up/down - urgh... why can't I move around normally with the mouse (plus arrow keys) like I used to in GtK? Is there a way I can change that? I checked around the settings, I couldn't find anything based on the 3d Preview besides Sensitivity.

Is it my prob? or is it "just" like that?

(Edit: Also I forgot where you can change the options where your Field of View is farther/shorter in 3d preview, where was it again?)

I guess that's the best thing to do right now.

Question... Do I have to un-install my GtK 1.1.1 before installing the new version of GtK? Because I read somewhere that GtK 1.2.1 is NOT an upgrade (and the Nightly 1.2.6 is the upgrade for 1.2.1 only)

Shame about the camera, it's really annoying keeps spinning and moves all around.

Okay great... one other note:

In Jk2Radient, where is the option so you can see brushes and objects at longer distances? Everything seems to fade to a grey at a certain point.

[P.S. grrrrrrrrrr the camera doesn't move at all angles like in GtK - SO ANNOYING, only looks left, right moves forward, backward. No more looking up and going up :(]

The option so you can see brushes and objects at longer distances is under 'view' than 'cubic clipping'.

I have the same problem with the 3d Camera. I have uninstalled Gtk and all entries in the regedit but its not fixed.

I think all users they have Gtk before JK2Radiant installed have this problem.

bye

(sorry for bad english  )
