I run a dedicated duel server and have started noticing quite frequently when I manually change a map; people who were playing along fine will get suddenly dropped with an invalid pk3 file referenced error. They may try and rejoin several times and always get the message, then eventually succeed. Are these people sneaking questionable pk3 files in when they initially join, or is this simply an errant bug I don't really need to worry about? TIA Akkarajo
Novus Posted April 23, 2002 Posted April 23, 2002 I have seen it on occasion, but I don't change the map manually very often. I believe it is a bug. It could be anything, but I'm pretty sure they're just false positives because of the sudden map change.
