Ravenbf Posted April 24, 2002 Share Posted April 24, 2002 Hello all, well I have edited my first skin (yeah I know, big deal:D ) but I can get it to show up in my game. It is still showing it as a zip. I went in and named it skin.pk3 but when I hit properties it still shows it as a zip and like I said the skin doesn't show up in my game. It is located in the base folder like the other skins I downloaded. So is there a way to change the format to pk3 since renaming it didn't help. VentGala Posted May 4, 2002 Share Posted May 4, 2002 Hey, Raven! I found the soution, your windows must be set to hide file extensions. Change it by: Open Windows Explorer and click on Tools/Folders. Then click on the view tab and unchaeck 'Hide known file extensions'. NOW you can rename the file. (Notice that now the .zip shows up in the file name) Good luck!
