Threnody
Room full of cyro-chambers: Across the room you can see some open cyro-chambers with the covers on the sliders above them: Close-up of an open cyro-chamber: Close-up of a closed cyro-chamber. The cyro-chamber leans back, for the cover to slide down over: Original design for the cyro-chamber, at this point they were actually cyro-tubes, I decided they weren't cool enough. Random shot of one of my test levels for the JO editor that I thought looked kind of neat: The cyro level was a simple on afternoon project. There's only one room, and the final version had over 1500 brushes in that single room. This being the cause of the bad framerates, I got a little to involved in details I guess. Oddly enough the prototype of the level that I ended up ditching had 1700 brushes, yet ran much smoother. Go figure. The cloud city level was just a level I made to get used to the editor. It's one intersection that repeates a few billion times. It only took a few minutes, and is rather simple, but it looked cool so I threw in a shot of it. Sadly neither level will be likely to ever see the light of day. The Cyro level due to framerate issues, and an overall loss of interest in the subject, and the Cloud City level because it was just a fun little test I don't really care about. Besides, Gonk's Cloud City level looks better. My next project will hopefully actually be released.
