concept artist for total conversion

creedguy

Recommended Posts

Ive been making comics and animation for 8 years, and now I want to make video games (go figure). Ive noticed several total conversions using the JO engine, and I want to offer free services to a dedicated team of people doing this for fun and portfolio/resume purposes. That means... we have to finish!

I do some modeling and texture work as well. Please take a look at my webiste to view my art and paintings.

Only really cool people need reply.

Check out my website at or go to

http://www.podcollective.com and go down to my portfolio listed there to see more of my sketchwork.

Good God, are you theeee Trent who created CreeD? I used to read your comic back when I was collecting them. That's awesome! Drop me a line sometime if you feel like it. I am a future animator myself. I just completed a skin for JKII but am still figuring out how to pack it up properly. Here's a look at it:

Great artwork, Trent. If you've done anything lately or have anything online, let me know! I've been out of the comic loop for a while now.

Hey that is one bitchin skin man! Yes, there are a few new creed books out there now. Most of which I am painting. Email me and Ill give you the skinny on how to get these rarities. Also, I penciled a Ghost rider mini series, and Im painting THOR now for marvel. And there was a book called "muties#4" which was a fill in.

Anyway its cool that you used to read the book! Thanks!

Wow, awesome to hear from ya man! Yeah, sure, here's my e-mail: killerkabob21@hotmail.com

I'm not sure what exactly you're looking for, but I could always work on my portfolio for the future. I hope to graduate from the University of Georgia in Digital Media (computer animation) by the end of this summer. If you want to see samples of my artwork, go here:

I mostly draw anthropomorphs but can draw humans. I guess I don't know what a total conversion is. ;) I also have a little experience with 3d max and Maya 4.0. I am a lot more familiar with Lightwave 3d. If you need any help with anything, drop me a line man! :D

By the way, my name's Bob. I'm just a big fan of the NeverEnding Story. Heh.

What Im looking for is perhaps a team, or to organize a team to accumulate material in concept and excecution in finishing a total conversion.

What a total conversion is... is an expansion on the game using the same tools and engine. I do not claim to know much about the technical aspects as I am not a programmer... but thats why I would like to organize or be a part of a team that creates locations and weapons and/or characters from scratch, for use with Jedi Outcast. There are a few being done right now... one is codenamed "strikeforce" in which there are no jedi, only team tactics and new locations for epic battles. I believe they are implementing mission based objectives ala RTCW as well. I dont know the specifics.

Anyway I want to design art, paint textures, and model patches/weapons/things of this nature with a group to create a final package that has a unique feel.

If you get something going, let me know. I'll do what I can to help out with the project. Sounds like a good experience. I'm also assuming it's the equivalent of a mod like CS is to Half Life etc. Regardless, I would like to be a part of it.

Well, it looks like Ill be doing some stuff for the guys putting together "strike force" as its called now. if I could figure out how to put pictures on a forum Id place a couple of the pics here to show ya. So far, Ive only done a rebel sniper and a jedi idea.

Can anyone tell me how to put a jpeg up in a forum? Im sure its right in front of me...
