how do you make custom textures?

i made one in paint shop pro 7...saved it as a jpeg and a tga...put it in a folder called "textures" under "base"...then loaded it from JKRadiant and nothing...cant get it at all....AHHHH!

Don't just drop it in the 'textures' folder. Put it in another folder under that one, then you should be able to load that through the texture menu.

 

And, make sure that the texture's dimensions are in powers of 2 (64, 256, 512, etc), or it won't work in JK2.
