Non dedicated problems...

Not what you think, I know that it doesn't show up in the server list, but I try to have my buds manually connect, but no go. I notice in the "About" part of the Esc menu it says local host, instead of my IP. Is that supposed to be like that? Is there ANY way to get my friends to connect to me, or for me to host a server a differen't way so that it will work?

Yes its supposed to say localhost...That's what your computer refers to itself as. How are they trying to connect? You didn't say exactly what they were doing. Have them make a new favorite and enter your IP...Then they need to change the list source to favorites and choose the new favorite just created. They should then be able to connect.

Well it works fine for me so I know it works. Can they connect to other games across the Internet? Can you? Are either of you behind firewalls? If so, Hardware or Software? If software, does it know about JKII and is it set to allow JKII access to the Internet and does it allow it to act as a server? If hardware, do you have the correct ports set to open? There are a myriad of reasons here but you still haven't given much info besides the fact that they can't connect....Also have you tried contacting LucasArts Tech Support?

It probably has something to do with my network card, which has caused problems in the past. Although those problems were always fixed after disabling internet sharing, I dont think I'm behind a firewall, unless it's an ISP thing, I also dont know how to set ports that would get through to my computer. I am able to connect to them, and they are able to connect to other servers, just not mine.
