Texture Stretching question

Could somebody please tell me how I can stretch a texture to fit the entire brush? Like when I make a sky with a texture, the texture just repeats over the entire sky. If you know what I mean, How can I do this? Thanks

I think you hit "s" to bring up a menu and then select "fit"
