Question about downloading new things from the site

Say I downloaded like new skins and stuff. Would this affect me playing online? Like because other people dont have the files means that they wont be able to play with me???

if you are playing, for example, with a darth maul skin (based on the reborn model) which other person don't have, they will see the default reborn skin only.

thus, you can still play with other persons

what files do you mean? if you're having other lightsabers, then only you will see them, nobody else.

but then again, exactly what types do you mean by "other files"
