SUPERLEN
Hey, how many "older" gamers playing this game? I'm 29, married, with a 13 month old daughter. My wife is gonna kill me, I'm so addicted to this game. The only reason I'm not playing now is because I'm at work (stupid work!).
SUPERLEN
Oh, common. I know you're out there...this is star wars after all. I know we've got some original fans here.
Pvt_Dancer
Hey man, I am 27 and also at work. Don't you think its so fantastic, looking back on the days when the Atari 2600 just came out... and the graphics and gameplay we have now? Its an f-ing mindblast. People may be avoiding the age topic because there have already been a few. Don't take it personally.

KordKelly
I've posted this a *few* times, but what the heck? Once more won't hurt... 40, that's right, the BIG 4-0. Four Decades, 2 Score years, 14,610 days. I love gaming and I'll never stop.
Kanubis
Well, I'm 23 and I also have a wife to battle with for decent SW time. I only graduated from university two years ago, and the arangement there was nice.. saw the then fiancee every other weekend for quality time, and spent week nights staying up playing Supremacy (Rebellion in USA, I think) or X-wing Alliance or whatever. I think my wife believes that I'll grow out of this SW thing.. which I very, very much doubt!

He,he. I sure do rememer the old Atari 2600. My personal favorite...River Raid. I love that the games and the graphics just keep getting better. I can't wait to see what they'll look like in 20 years...too bad I'll have to buy a GeForce35 to play them (hehe). Oh, and I know who you older gamers are online...you're the ones who don't run around like chickens with your head cut off (usually). Nice to hear from you guys! SUPERLEN
Hehe. Sadly, I'm afraid it's not as nice as you'd think. It's not like having a live in girlfriend...it's more like having a live in boss (that sometimes cooks:) ). Just kidding, it has ups too.

Rogerwilco2002
I am only 16 but I have always been interested in the ol' day of gaming. I have 3 atari 2600's. Only one fully works because I took the joysticks from one and the tv hookups from another and combined them into one. It was good stuff. Simple. Easy. Of course now that I got rid of my older tv I can't hook it up anymore. I just have to play 8-bit nintendo games like Dragon Warrior or Super nintendo games like Battle Clash(you know the one with the super scope). I may be only half you guys in the age department but I am all about games as I am sure you are.

Darth Abbadon
I'm 21, and my memory is good enough that I can remember the Atari (I don't know what number because I was too young to care at the time). I particularly remember this E.T. game I played at someone's house a few times. I can remember in elementary school playing educational games on Apples (I think Apple IIe). For instance, I remember the original Oregon Trail game (which I have for playing on an emulator now). I also remember when I first saw a color monitor. Was quite an exciting event for me since all I had known before was green monochrome. I have an original NES system and it still works for when I'm feeling like playing a classic game such as Dragon Warrior or Final Fantasy (the first one, and I still haven't completed it). I can also remember the original Commander Keen. I also have the game Keen Dreams on disk around here somewhere. I started devoting myself to games about the time that Jedi Knight came out. Currently, I look around for a chance to do beta testing and work my way up the ranks in the gaming industry. As soon as a friend of mine gets a copy of Jedi Outcast, we're going to be working on something. You'll just have to wait and see.....
pantha-too-kay
What is this? The thread for working oldies? I am 29 and at work and I remember the original release of SW with a nostalgic tear...
Prince Legolas
I'm 21. But no kids of wife which I consider to be a good thing at the moment. Less time to be wasted on "being a family" and more time to spend kicking Dark Jedi ass!
