texture problem... please help

I love the game It's alot of fun, but no matter what video setting I used the game textures look blocky. Every setting look blocky accept when I put texture detail to 16 bit with all the rest to the highest. I can't put the setting lower or change the textures to 32 bit without it going blocky, But even keeping the textures to 16 bit some areas still look blocky (the control panels textures in Imperial bases). Everything else works fine. I sure hope my computer is good enough to play this game. Does anybody know whats wrong?
