LiquidSnake555
How come whenever I create a game no one can ever see it when they search?
cheapherk
I contacted Lucas Arts about this issue. Here's a copy of the reply: Thank you for your message, If you are playing while hosting a Jedi Outcast game on the internet, your game is not listed on the Internet servers page. This is to limit the type of servers allowed on different server pages, specifically the Internet page which is only supposed to show Dedicated Servers. Any other machine on your LAN (if present) should see your game listed on the Local page, but any machine connecting from a separate network/dialup will only be able to connect by entering the IP address of the host machine. Players connecting to a multiplayer game will need to obtain the IP address of the host computer. This may also be necessary when attempting to join a multiplayer game on some local area networks (LAN's). To obtain the IP address of the host computer, the player who is hosting the game (creating the server) will need to open their connection to the internet and then access the Start menu, choose Programs and select the MS-DOS Prompt (in Win9x), or access the Start menu, choose Programs, click Accessories, and select the the Command Prompt (in Windows 2000/XP). Then type IPCONFIG at the prompt and hit <enter>. Locate the the "IP Address" line on screen and write this number down to give to players who wish to join your multiplayer game. The joining player(s) will need to select to join a server after selecting to start a multiplayer game, then Add Favorite, and enter the host's IP address as the favorite. Then the joining player will need to select Source: Favorites, and Get New List and the game should appear on the join menu. Hope this helps!
