getting the saber out the cage?

I have managed to get through to the saber collection poin in the game i step on the brick that goes down to raise the cage and then use speed force but cant get to the saber in time!

 

Is there something else i have to do or do i have to persist at this?

 

Any help would be great!

Step on the Brick, use force speed and when you get to the cage, or thereabouts, use force force push/pull to acquire the light saber.

 

After this you will progress onto much more difficult and tedious puzzles.
