I'm going to need testers in 1 to 2 weeks to help find bugs. If you want to, post or PM your AIM or ICQ ID and I'll get with you when the time comes. For now, a few questions: 1. How can I pull off making the invulnerable glass with the metal lining. Like in the Jedi Temple, first time you come through and watch the other guys train, just like that! 2. patchx Posted April 29, 2002 Share Posted April 29, 2002 to make invulenerable glass just make the brush that is the dimensions of the glass pane and cover it in glass texture. dont change it to func_glass and it wont break with the elevator i found it easier to use func_door than func_plat just make a brush the size of ur elev place it at the starting point in it entities menu put in the height u want it to go to as the key "lip" type "angle" as a key and in the value box press the up thing on the menu next the the angle buttons make two buttons one at the top and one at the bottom have the one at the bottom reachable while standing on the elev the one at the top should be on a nearby wall select one of the buttons and then the elev and press cntrl k repeat for the other one select the elev type in the key "soundset" type in the value "medium_platform" there u go -patch Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
