Skin request

I can't skin worth a dam, but I was wondering if any one could make some skins from Jay and Silent Bob Strike back, Like Bluntman, Chronic, and CockKnocker. Also The blunt bong saber would be cool, and Cocknocker's dildo saber.

hey,

give it a go yourself first, skining isn't that hard. made my first skin yesterday and it aint bad (if i do say so myself). Although the skins you want made would prob need new models.

Not hard? Maybe for some, but there are a LOT of people who take one look at those files and start babbling to themselves. I mean, come on it looks more like abstract art than a jedi...

good point, i've only made 1 skin and that was of a stormtrooper and i guess thats pretty straight forward. Though i've messed around with others its not hard to determine what pic is what piece.

I tried one time, but whatever pic I would try to change turned invisible in the game, so I gave it up.

 

But at least I was able to get rid of the feather on the one mara skin.

It totally depends on what kind of skining exerpience you got if it is easy or not.... I started skinning with quake 1 then quake 2, 3 , DF2:Jedi Knight --- and now I try to pretty much skin anything

 

But if you got any experience skinning quake 3 models, skinning for JO is the exact same thing

I have never skinned anything. I guess I need to find a good tutorial, or something.

 

For some reason when I tried to put gloves on the old mara skin thats on the site the hands would disapear, so I had a handless model.

 

I have no clue what I did wrong.

I bet you typed in the wrong url for the handmodel in the .skin file.... that happeneds sometimes. (or it just didn´t find the texture)

I just edited the one that was already there, and it did that.

Well on thew new one Im am making myself, I am following the tutorial. So it should hopfully work. I already did all the renaming of the pics, and changed the skin file.
