Looking for the different settings you can use for the jk2ded filename. I want to be able to choose maps, I want Force Powers and also want to know if there is a FAQ.

I forgot to mention a few things. I am running on a Linux platform on a 466Mhz with 256MB SDRAM and 30GIG of storage. Any idea how many players I can run at the max? I ran 6 players and my PID CPU usage was only at 30% so I think that 18 players would be the max?

Great except that I dont have a rc.boot in my /etc folder. Is there a way to unzip files in freebsd with the .zip extension?

you mentioned before you were on a linux platform, now you're on freebsd? make up your mind.. sheeeesh ;)

i'm not familiar enough with freebsd to tell you where programs run at boot are stored.

Well, FreeBSD is a linux variant. Sorry about that. Unzipping a zip file in FreeBSD should be the same thing in linux.

Hi Ya,

Maybe a silly question but is Linux & Unix linked in anyway? I tell you why I ask: I've got a mac running Mac OS X which I am told is really a unix OS, and i was wondering if it would be possible to run a Linux dedicated server on my Mac??!!!

I am more or less sure there would be more complications invloved, but I just need it confirming before scraping the idea!

Thanx in advance
