If you want to create those, you'll need to know first which effect is it is, in the /env folder. There are a few in there. Next, you'll need also a target_position entity too likely, so you can set the end point for the beam (just as with other beams or lightning effects). I have not the time right now to get into a step-by-step how-to, but I can help more in another post I can write tonight. Or make a tutorial. FEXX Posted May 1, 2002 Share Posted May 1, 2002 I used the 'fx_runner' entity last night, and got a tight red laser beam, but I am not sure yet how to control what direction it goes. For the fxFile Key of the fx_runner I used 'env/mini_beam' I think. It is in the /env folder as an .efx. After I learn exactly how to control the beam I can write a step-by-step (if all goes well).
