Darkest_Knight
Please someone tell me there's an ambient light function? You can't have to use lights to light up an entire map surely (pretty sure Yavin swamp wouldn't have!)? If there is, where is it and how does it work? SITHWARRIOR-SaF
After you put worldspawn in while it's still selected push n and an entities thing will come up in the key value type (ambient value) and for the value type 300-400 and you won't need lights. Belial6672
make sure you put another entry into the worldspawn function as below key: _color value: 1 1 1 ambient light doesnt work properly without the _color values included, 1 1 1 is white light by the way. I generally set the ambient lighting level to about 50-60, that way it is giving enought light so the level isnt black and you can add in other lights for a more dramatic lighing effect.....otherwise if you just use ambient light by itself then the level lighting will be bland (good I suppose if youre doing a fog level).
