Kaardoon Posted April 29, 2002 Posted April 29, 2002 First of all, a pretty basic question for those of you who are more familiar with editing than myself: How would I go about changing around the taunt sounds in JK2? I tried putting Desann's animsounds.cfg file in with a skin I'm modifying, but instead of getting "Save your strength fool," I get Galak's annoying laugh! >.<!!!! And that animsounds.cfg file is the only sound file in Desann's folder, so I'm a bit baffled as to how to add his taunt to my skin. Secondly, possibly for an even more experienced editor: I was wondering how I might go about creating my own voice taunts. I found a lot of .wav files I'd like to use as taunts for some of my skins, yet I dont have the first idea as to how to begin. Anyone out there got a clue? Any help from anyone at all would be most appreciated... Thanks.

[LoRD]RaoulHooD Posted April 30, 2002 Posted April 30, 2002 In your model directory you need a file called sounds.cfg it's a simple text file and all it would have in it is : (in your case) chars/desann/misc m Don't forget that "m"... it's not a typo. This will give your skins ALL of Desann's sounds however.
