Lady Daaleila
A simple question: How does one delete textures from a model that was included with the game?

Cmdr. Antilles
Whatever you do, don't mess with your assets0.pk3 file. (or any other files that came with the game. )
spacermonkey
open the models .skin file- it lists the links to the places where the models textures are stored for when the model is in game. If your wanting to do something like turn off kyle's shoulderpad, then you simply change the link info to a one that doesnt exist (havent tried but should work ) I know theres an actual command you can put in like null texture - but I cant remember for sure. Or you could simply create a new copy of the original skin using an alpha channel to - make transparent part of the skin in game. (Save it as a tga tho - jpeg doesnt support alpha channels.)
