Stuck on DoomGiver detention centre!

Alright, i went down the elevator in the first docking bay.

I entered a hallway with two baby AT-ST's. after killing them, i continued down the hall, and into a room.

The room had a large hanger of sorts carrying tie fighters, with 6 sentry cannons on it. In the far end of the room is an elevator leading to the second floor. Clearing the storm troopers off there, i ran around the ledge of the second floor to a control panel that opens one of the three doors (including the one i came out of) on the first floor. Down the middle doorway was another baby at-st, and down the third hallway was 2 baby at-st's. At the end of all three hallways is a lift, but i can't get the lift down, and that's where i am stuck.

Any body that can help me or suggest something?

Naw, I am in the room AFTER you descend the elevator the first time. In other words, in hanger bay 1 I have already flipped the switch that allows the large elevator in the middle of the bay to descend into a "maintenace bay" (the bay with the six laser turrents, hanging Tie, and ledge around the upper portion of the room). I gather from other posts that this "maintenance bay" connects the first hangar to the second hangar. In this "maintenance bay" I have already flipped the switch which opens up two new sets of doors, both of which have robot mini-walkers. None of the elevators at the end of these two new doors will descend so that I can proceed to hangar 2.

It is almost like my "window of opportunity" has passed to utilize the new elevators. I saw in another post concerning the rescuing of Jan that there is a bug in that particular script that prevents the rescue of Jan if you save before/during the rescue. I am wondering if this is not the same case (especially as I quick save opten :-) ).

 

I noticed another place where it seemed my "window of opportunity" had passed. It was on the "stealth level" where you can turn the lights out of a room filled with officers and stormtroopers, and one particular black uniformed officer standing behind weapon-proof glass right at an alarm panel. I had flipped the switch but was unprepared to make a move. So I let the light scome back on; but when I was ready to make a move, I could not turn the lights back off! I was finally able to get past the room by force speeding to the exit door across the room before the black-uniformed officer could sound the alarm (why the officer couldn't sound the alram even after I exited the room is beyond me, but I didn't care just so long as I escaped the room!).

 

Anyway, worst case is that I'll have to reload from a checkpoint and re-play the level. Oh, darn! ;-)

When you go into bay 1 and all the way across into the room where you can open the door and activate the elevator, there is a similar room directly behind you that does the same thing for bay 2. After you hit the switch in that room (that activates the bay 2 elevator) go down into the lower room and then the elevator should come down. Sorry for the confusion.
