Map: Duel Station - almost ready.

Well, this is my first map I'm ever going to release, so I'm pretty happy about that :)

 

Basically, it's just a map that the idea for came to me one night, so I started it (that was about 2 days ago, total work time has probably been about 4-5 hours on it though).

 

Anyway, basic background is it's a space station (hrm, I have no doors, must put in a door somewhere to show where people come into it), with a nice platform to duel in, a pit to fall into and die (needed one, naturally), and some trippy lighting of red and blue mixes :)

 

Before I release it though, I'm going to do a bit of fiddling with light values etc, and maybe just make a few cosmetic changes, but anyway, here are the pictures (bout 130kb each)

I should have it released sometime today (australian time :) )

 

It's a dueling map, no FFA, but if I get overly bored, I could turn it the basic idea behind it into a CTF map.

UniKorn - yep, I'll be resizing the images later on, to bring the file sizes down.

 

Bugkill - I'm trying to get bot support working.

 

Legion - Definitely, I'm thinking that with the current design, theres really only two things I can do. Expand Up (mmm, more ledges in high places to duel on, mwuahahaha), or expand outwards and make it into a decent FFA map.

 

I'm actually considering turning the whole thing into a FFA map, I've got some cool ideas to play with in my mind :)
