VISA Posted April 30, 2002 Share Posted April 30, 2002 My problem is using the d-pad. I want the d-pad to be for movement. Buttons 1-10 work fine for reference the key assignments correlating from the keyboard are 1=1, 2=L, 3=Z, 4=X, 5=F, 6=E, 7=P, 8=B, 9=C, 10=space and the d-pad is forward=w, left=a, right=d, back=s. The diagonal directions on the d-pad are turned off. Here is the problem when the joystick setting is turned off the buttons work but the d-pad doesn't. When the setting is on as soon as I touch the d-pad the mouse messes up getting stuck in the upper left hand corner causeing the screen to rotate violently makeing the game unplayable. I think the solution has something to do with the "Load out Manager" and the "profile editor" which are stupid ideas for setup in my opinion. Please someone help me and I will be eternally grateful. Jacen Posted April 30, 2002 Share Posted April 30, 2002 Same thing happened with my mouse when i turned joystick on. I'm using the dpad for jump and crouch and maybe use though, not movement.
