Teppodama
I am just getting started with mapping.(still looking for a tut I can understand.) lol But I do have some small experience with modeling. I have a number of 3ds objects and lightwave objects that are Star Wars related that I would love to add into a map. What I want to know, is if this is possible and if so....how? For example.... I have an idea for a Duel map that has Darth Mauls Sith SpeederBike from the movie. I have this model in 3ds format and I would love to know how I can use it. Also have droids, vechiles(such as star destroyers,x-wings,etc. and some characters such as TuskanRaider that I can add a skeleton to. From reading the modeling section I understand that even with a model of a character we still cannot animate them in the game. But simple props should be no problem. Anyone feel like pointing me in the right direction?
