davehitchcock69 Posted May 1, 2002 Posted May 1, 2002 ... a common problem im finding many people running XP have. XP seems to have a LOT of trouble with this game. I am running XP - prof with a geforce 2mx 400 and everything works great..but i come to the odd map that wont load...and i have to skip the level. It gives the above error msg. I hear its something to do with jpegs and opengl? Anyone have any insight? Thanks guys.
Darth_Merc Posted May 1, 2002 Posted May 1, 2002 I had a similar prob with Raven's STV: Elite force. The same error apart from the fact that it actaully said unsupported marker type jpg. I was able to get around it by turning gl extensions off in the video menu, of course that was EF and windows 98... after I had loaded past the part that gave me the error, i turned them back on (game doesn't look quite right with it off). Hope this helps.
