Taunt Creating (help please)

:fett: i have recorded some of my own taunt but cant get them to work, how would i go about getting it to work:fett:

 

(they are wav files right now)i dont know how to conver either

Look at mp_generic_female or mp_generic_male under the \sound\chars\ to see what the diffrent mp sounds are called.

 

And to get em to work on a custom skin then you need to make a new foulder in the \chars\ with the same name as the skin.

 

To convert them download goldwave from http://www.goldwave.com load your wave into that and change the volume to 200 and then save it as a .mp3 and your ready to rock & roll

 

Thats what i did with my Han Solo sounds.

Another good choice if you want something more complex, would be CoolEdit 2000. That's excellent for creating/converting/editing MP3s.

cool im goin to make sure i try this i really want to make my own taunt lol can anyone see it or do i have to send it or post it on soemhting for them to hear it
