Broken Pillars and Cracks in the Floor

Anyone know how to make the broken pillars and cracks as seen in the massai temple?

the broken pillars are just brushes that the edges have been draged and its been cropped a little....the cracks im not sure i remember what they looked like so i couldnt tell ya.

well i dont know what they look like in the temple, but u can either start with one brush and use CSG subtract, or start with one or multiple brushes (for each pillar/section of floor) and use clipping (press "x" to toggle on/off).

I'm having a hard time with the clipper. I 'spose I'll have to look in some tutorials. I want a spline editor!
