Can´t install the game

I can´t install Jedi2! when the "Preparing Setup" screen comes, the pc freeze!! what shall i do??

CPU: AMD ATHLON 1300MHZ

MOTHERBOARD: VIA 4in1

RAM: 256mb

OS: WIN 98 second edition

DIRECTX: 8.1

NVIADIA Geforce 2MX 400 64 MB (newest DETANATOR)

please need help!!!
