Connection Interrupted problem

I have this problem, I am able to join games, host servers and everything perfectly ok. The game runs completely smooth, however I will get "connection interrupted" for a period of about 5 seconds every minute or so, making playing the game properly impossible. I've scanned the forum and so far the only solutions I can find are changing my network drive and altering rate in the join screen. But I got a feeling thats not gonna solve it, if anyone has any suggestions as to what this might be, I'd appreciate it a lot.
