mirrors and portal surfaces

Hey there

 

I thought I would ask this question again. I have been trying to add a mirror to one of my levels.

 

Now in Quake 3, I believe you just made a surface brush with the mirror shader on it and placed a portal surface no more than 64 units away from the surface. This should make a mirror, unfortunately it doesn't in Jedi.

 

so has anyone found a way to do this, I have tried mutliple system shaders like portals and shot clips etc.. and have managed to get some pretty screwed up effects but no mirror.

 

So please anyone help, let me know why this doesn' work, or what I am doing wrong.
