If you're asking people to give you their input on on what they would like to see in a map, then you may be better off posting in one of the more visited. From what I can tell the majority of people would like to see is more CTF maps. If you are asking about what is a good way to design maps, just start with a basic idea. Figure out the main feature of the level. This is probably what people will gravitate to. On ns_streets, it is the whole "I can throw people off the edge to their doom. Sweet." idea. On my soon to be release Temple free for all level, it is the retractable roof over the pit of lava. you can use force push on the buttons to open the floor underneath your opponent. It doesn't have to be a feature like that. It could also be like Bespin streets where you can drop down and surprise your opponent. you just have to get a basic idea in your head of what you want to do. A teleporters map might make a good idea (although a bit unoriginal). Just look at your favorite map and decide what makes it so much fun. Good luck.

Ok, I will start again.. This map I wish to make is a ffa map.. I dont intend to have bottomless pits, or anything that kills you instantly.. I am using bespin textures, and what I want to know is what things in a map make an official map so AMAZING..

Like a good story, no amount of visual FX can help it. The story must be great to begin with.

A story is similar to a map. The map has to have drama, unknowns, dynamic flow, realistic rooms, details, great texture mapping, no strange errors, and mood that fits the rooms and textures. It is not easy to make the in game maps.

And after looking over the in game maps, I really don't think the people at RAVEN used JK2Radiant to make them. They are way to complex and as elaborate as a Queen. But if they did, I envy those map makers.
