pic of their right-click please. Im having problems

i am having troubles placeing spawn points son my map nd whenever i ask someone about it they always say to right click ans select info. When i rightclick there is no info button.

 

could someone be kind enough to post of picture of this "info" button you speak of and help me out.

This sounds like your entity path in your project setting is incorrect

 

check your project setting entity path go

 

file/projectsettings

 

the entity path should have this line in it

 

x:\where ever you installed jedi outcast too\GAMEDATA\TOOLS\\mp_entities.def

 

for multiplayer

 

x:\where ever you installed jedi outcast too\GAMEDATA\TOOLS\\sp_entities.def

 

for single player

 

just replace the x:\where ever you installed jedi outcast too\

with the the correct path for your install

Well when you right-click over your map, you should get a bunch of entity options on the bottom-half of the menu that opens. One of them is 'info'; and then its submenu is like 'info_player_start'.

 

If you don't have these, look at the post above this one; it may help fix any paths you may have wrong.

I tried changing the entity paths for JK radient the first time round but it didn't work. (It was the one I downloaded from jediknightii.net)

 

Later I redownloaded JK2radient from Raven's official website, which seemed to have patched it up. It worked fine. Try visiting their website if it still doesn't work.
