Why isn't this model showing up?

Okay, in Radient I select the a_shield_converter.md3 model and I see this in Radient:

 

 

But when I run my map I see this image, just a black outline with the green lights that are flashing, what is going on?

to me it looks like the model is normal, but there is no light on it, try putting a light next to it and see if that helps

radiant doesn't like long loaction names for the misc_model entity change the location by deleteing everything before the base folder

ex: a) c:\jkii\base

b) base\
