CX_OmegaRed
I'm in the middle of making decent sized map with four floors... My question is, since each of these floors is on top of each other and fairly complex and has quite a few brushes and entities, would it be easier to craft each floor seperately and import them like prefabs to then set them up and compile? or is there some better way to do this... Also, One of these floors is set to have a hallway all the way around it that from above looks like an octagon... I want to make the hall look fairly advanced and was wondering if i should construct it out of brushes or patch meshing? Any imput is appreciated... Thanks, OmegaRed
OCF
I've tried working with two floors on the same map at once, it gets to be a headache.. but there are some shortcuts that help For example.. the Z coordinate of the last created brush is saved when you create a new brush, it will have the same Z coordinate (keeping the levels the same) Texturing on the other hand can be a bit cumbersome in a multi tier environment... As for the hallway... your call
