map converting

I have a map from quake 3 and I want to convert it to a jk2mp map I know it would work considering it plays on the same game engin and criteria er....... but any way the map I convert loads into jk2mp and then I get an error screen it says the map is version 46 and it needs to be version 1 if someone could help me or if someone would like to give it a try I perfer someone to give it a try considering Im not a mapper nor do I know where to begin with making maps it seems to be easier to let someone else try it instead of me having to go and buy new mice when I get pised off and decide to slam them into my monitor if you could help it would be greatly appreciated.

For that you need the .map file. The bsp can't help you at all
