Reborn317 Posted May 4, 2002 Share Posted May 4, 2002 what the hell do i do after I save a map? i need a light entitiy in it, a starting point, i right click and get info then hit something about start player. what do i do next? i hella need to figure this part out before i do anything else. yrean Posted May 4, 2002 Share Posted May 4, 2002 ok jump.... lol.... you need a spawn point which is info player deathmatch for multiplayer......then you need to bsp..if you dont have light entities....bsp fullvis(nolight) so you can see.... then load multiplayer.... go into consol....shift ~....type in map mapname...or devmapall mapname ....make sure you have you map saved into base/map folder or it will not bsp and you will not be able to do shiiitttt... Mech-Ryu Posted May 4, 2002 Share Posted May 4, 2002 I did this, and I have a problem.. when I insert my spawn point (info_player_deathmatch) I do the fullvis and when it is finshed I have this red line pointing to the spawn point.. Is this a leak thing, and how to a get round this red line... The spawn point is in an open area, dunno if that will affect the problem.. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
