FatTony2000 Posted May 5, 2002 Share Posted May 5, 2002 how do u make a lift (with or without button control) and a forcefield that i can control with a button or multiple buttons preferably, like two switches can activate/deactivate the same force field? o and how do u make force buttons? does anybody have any example maps where i can see this? i tried to copy paste some from the kejim map but my buttons just dissapeared but you still made a motion like u were pressing something but no sound or motion occored any basic examples of any of these would be GREATLY appreciated! thanx! McCloud Posted May 8, 2002 Share Posted May 8, 2002 There are different force feild textures. The one i'm using in my map is called forcefield. I think it's under doomgiver. Apply the texture to your brush and make it a func_wall. For key type "targetname" and for value just give it a name and give your buttons the same name for there target key. I foun this out from finding a forcefield in the kejim map that came with radiant. I made a wall and checked force activate and used it like a button. That might work for you.
