Hello

Like many of you unfortunate people out there I also experiance the unfortunate problem of freezing which causes my Hard disk to make this awful high pitched noise like its dying and eventually leads to me pulling a 'forced restart'. I have closed all programs which are currently running when I play JK2. No luck. I have tried re-installing the program. Again no luck. I even thought that it was my Hard disk that was at fault and so i replaced it. It still locks up. I have tried every combination possible in the options. AND I STILL GET LOCK UPS!!!!! I have all the new drivers and well above the system requirements.

Why are Raven punishing me?? This is a superb game, the best star wars game I have played in a long time and its soo frustrating to be unable to play without locking up every 5 mins. One thing I have discovered is that the lock ups I have experrianced are time related which is rather strange. I listed below my computer direct x diagnostics report soo everybody can see the type of computer I am running. I have e-mailed support@Activision.com many times trying to get to the bottom of this problem and will continue to do soo untill I get answers. all who read this thread plz respond and tell me if you have a similar problem or if there are any variations that you get on the problem (plz included your system specs as I have). All I can suggest to all the people out there is to continue e-mailing this address for answers.

Finally I understand the work and commitment of the Raven team in making this brilliant game and that is why it saddens me that I can not play their work of art :(

What motherboard are you using? What type of case and who makes the power supply? Alot of times with the AMD Processors you need to have at least an AMD APPROVED 300 Watt supply or better. If you are using the Via chipset, make sure you have the latest 4 in 1 drivers {4in1 4.38(2)v(a)} for the board.
