Ko'or Oragahn Posted May 5, 2002 Posted May 5, 2002 When I make a level for JO, what kind of files do I need to put in my pk3 ? I've been dowing some stuff for Q3 and looked towards wolf also and noticed that along the usual bsp, ass shader and arena files, I had to add a lot of scripting to the wolf level packs. So I decided to have a look to the pk3 of JO and here's what I think is all we need, despite the fact that there are numerous other kind of files : xxx.bsp (compiled map) xxx.arena (file needed to configure the settings of your map for a server) xxx.wnt (bot route... I suppose this is the equivalent to Quake 3's "aas" files) Plus many tgas and/or jpegs and shader files if new effects and textures are added. But is it all ? What about the : EAL EFX FCF FONTDAT GLA GLM IBI JKB NAV ROF ??? Are some of these needed for the maps ? I guess yes, but what are they meant for ??
