how do i get Multiplayer Taunting to work?

I can get into the console and try stuff like

 

"Bind l Taunt"

 

or, if i try typing Taunt in the console, it gives me a list of taunts

that says:

 

tauntTaunt

tauntPraise

tauntGuantlet

tauntKillInsult

 

and some other ones. so when i try "Bind l TauntTaunt" it say unknown cmnd "tauntTaunt"

 

can anyone explain how i get the people taunt?

Well in MP, you type bind x +taunt where x is whatever key. I'll have to experiment with the other things you just mentioned to see what I can find out though.
