Sutek
Well, after 3 seconds in one of the .pk3 files, I found that I had no problems with any .mp3 file in them. Perhaps if you were more specific with which mp3 files you mean, and where you found them.
the_owl_rules
the game sound effects r alright, but wen (for example) Kyle is supposed to speak, there is nothing. same in the cutscenes, no one's voice can be heard. not only voices, the music too. the only things i can hear r sound effects (guns blasting, lightsaber swinging, etc) HELP! Sutek
Try altering the sound quality in the Sound Options to a different setting (try low first). Also look at the language settings on the page which mentions subtitles: Check that you have the right language under Voice and Text, and play with the Subtitles option (I have mine set to cinematics only if this helps) Also, make sure that any music/sound apps are closed before you start, it might be that the device is "busy" when JK2 starts up. Finally, run dxdiag.exe and perform all the sound and music tests you can. This might give some more clues as to what may be wrong.
the_owl_rules
there r subtitles, they just come and go too fast 4 to read them. and im not a slow reader.and as for the sound qualtiy, that wont help cos there is an error that sez 'error, unable to open mp3 file....' or sum **** like that.
