Psalm_42
Sorry if this question has been asked before. I just got the game and cannot figure out how to force 1st person view in multi. Am I forced to play in 3rd person view while using lightsabres in multiplayer? thanks......
Master Shawn
To get out of 3rd person while using the saber(I dont understand why you would want to...) simply hit the p key.
RiverWalker
:headslap: yes, you have to play in third person saber in multiplayer. this is for several reasons, by my logic that others have agreed is sound. 1) the system used for single player, in order to minimize player model interference with your view, it goes to the "hands only" model in first person, this would make it so nobody could see anything but your hands and saber. 2) only a very very small percentage of people would even USE it. 3) it would be a large hassle to redo that section in order to get around the model issue. 4) it would noticably increase demand on your systems resources, 5) while apparently some people for SOME (unimaginable to me) reason do want to play saber in first person, and deprive themselves of many of the acrobatics, and a proper view of their surroundings in order to use the sword properly. 6) (this is more my opinion really) use of saber in first person is inhibiting, not only because of the games limits, but because you can't see as much going on around you. use of it in that manner is limiting to the player, and enabling it in multiplayer would be injurious to the smooth play on the users machine, and possibly cause issues on other peoples computers as well.
