model problem

When i use misc_model, i keep on getting illegal oparation error, im just wondering what im doing is right to place a tie fighter on my map

right click -> misc -> misc_model and then i put this in..

base\models\map_objects\imp_detention\tie_fighter

Hmm.. do you need to take the models out of the pk3 file or, just leave them in there?

Oh another quick qustion, is how do you get shields on the map? i cant find the texture...

lol forgot about that:D

 

I think you do need to take the models out of the assets0.pk3 file yes, try using a zip program like winzip, then unzip the models folder from the assets0.pk3 and put it into the base folder.

it should hopefully work then:)

 

edit: sorry not sure about the shields thing:)
